New Section.

Prompted by an excellent post by Powerrabbit earlier this week, we've started a new section in the main menu called FAQ's. The intention is that this section can be used to store useful posts or item of information that will be of ongoing interest to members.

Any suggestions or offerings please PM Admin.

Pride of place as FAQ No 1 is Powerrabbit's excellent post on David Brown loaders

NEW USERS - FORUM REGISTRATION
Posted by: admin on Monday, November 19, 2007 - 05:40 PM
Web Site News
IMPORTANT – ANYONE WISHING TO REGISTER TO USE THE FORUM

Please note that when you register to use the forums it is necessary to include
your location as part of the registration information.

The reason this information is required is twofold, firstly so that we do not get 'spoof' users. Secondly, and the most important reason, is that members join the club from all over the world, and often post asking for advice which in many cases is location specific eg spare parts supplies, or technical queries which concern models specific to a particular country.

The location needs only to be fairly general, eg Dorset, UK; Queensland Australia; Ontario, Canada etc.

Whenever a user has registered, an email will be sent to one of the website administrators who will check the users profile to see if the location has been entered. If it hasn't, then the user will be reminded via the personal messages service. If the user still does not enter their location then their registration will be deleted.

Thank you for your co-operation in this matter
