| At that price it should not need any parts. But yes, service parts are available, most engine and ancillary components are and certain components can be repaired. Infact, listening to some stories about modern equipment and Asian imports with inferior copied parts, you could do a lot worse buying something else. Good solid work horse is a 1200. |

1968 you say? possibility she could be an underpowered one, early 1200s were rated at 67hp, they werent strong enough to pull a duck off its nest, so the factory uprated them to 72hp after a year or so, not difficult to have pump re-calibrated it she is a 67hp one though |

| Thanks for your reply, the tractor has been stored for the last 3 years. It has some oil leaks, and tire wear, but otherwise is ready to go. I am unclear if it is a selectomatic or manual, there is no label on the body of the tractor indicating that it is a selectomatic. Any help on this would be appreciated. |

| selectamatic refers to the hydraulic system, 1200 has a normal 6 or maybe 12 speed manual box |

all the 1200s I have seen here have been 12 speeds.
DB hours count at 1412 rpm, so a 5000 hour DB is equal to most other makes 3500 hour machines(counting at 1900-2100 average).
In my part of the country, at 5K, it should have a loader, good paint, and start good when cold. |
