| hello my lock on my 990 q cab is still not wht it should be we have managed to get some minor adjustment to improve it slightly but it could still be improved what else can i try to bring it up to scratch cheers colby |

Managed to adjust the ball joint on either end off the ram but has not improved anything too

| Have you tried jacking the front up and seeing what happens if the wheels are off the ground? |

| would i be right in thinking the ram has more surface area for left lock? but less the width of the rod for r/h lock? could be all sort really |

| If that's the case then it could be one or both the king pins is partly seized. To check disconnect the steering rods and see how freely they move. It could also be weak steering pump pressure. This shows more when steering right because as Jim says there is more surface area on the piston when turning left than right. |

| Bit of a silly question I know but, is the ram mounting bolted to the correct threaded holes on the chassis,if not that could give more throw one way than the other. |
