Format from those I've seen is an informal gathering at the start with much talk of DBs and the like. Held in a hotel, so you can do this over a nice pint (for those not driving, of course). The meeting itself is in its own room and when we're brought to order and take our seats, the chairman may say a few words and then ask the guest speaker to present. Always an interesting insight into various aspects of DBs. After formal questions, some will ask questions 1:1 whilst others have another drink, chat, etc. Club shop is represented for those who need small items, gifts, etc.
A very enjoyable informal evening out! |
