| im guessing one of you packs is leaking, might need to get a preasure tester hooked into it and start playing, might be worth checking obvious things like your cable etc first, you can lift a plate in the floor of the cab to make sure its moving properly |

| Check the cable, as jimc1390 reccommnends but the problem sounds to be in the rear clutch of the hydrashift unit. You could remove the R/H fuel tank and test the pressures but you may as well lift the cab and then check them because you are bound to need the cab off. |

if you test the preasure you can use a flexi from a grease gun, same thread, but remove the grease first!! |

| main unit is different, spool is upright on a 1212 and has hole cut out for it, plus 4wd laysahaft on bottom and input shaft is longer on 1694, |

He's right the brake band is released in 3 and 4 so it might as well not be there. not sure what a reverers is. |

| did you test the preasure, in the spool you will see a hex plug , get a preasure guage into that(0-100 psi) guage, get her running with lid on and guage in, get nice and hot and run through the gears noting preasure readings |
