Hello everyone, I've just bought a 1975 995 and am having a few problems. As this is my first post i'll say thanks in advance for any help you can give. The first problem is with the steering. When your driving along the steering will take a notion and jerk to one side or the other, i've also noticed that sometimes the steering will lock fully of its on accord when the tractor is idling. The second problem is noise from the transmission, it is loud enough to need ear defenders, is this normal! I've driven several 885's and 1430's and theay are nowhere near as noisy.
Many thanks 995er |

| Check that the gearbox has the correct amount of oil in it. Steering problem may be due to the ram internal seals needing replacement. |
